About The Christian Counselor
Marybeth Steigenga holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Christian Counseling from Cornerstone University. She is licensed as a Clinical Christian Counselor by the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA).
She also hold a Bachelor's degree in communication and has worked as a client advocate in the community since April of 2007.
Marybeth is an Ordained Minister of Counseling of the National Conservative Christian Church.
The counseling offered is based on a foundation consisting of:

The Word Of God - the source of all truth, able to transform the
spirit, mind and body.
- The Temperament - We use the most thorough and accurate
assessment tool available. It identifies and quantifies an
individual's God-given strengths, weaknesses and relationship
needs.
- The Temple of God - The physical body supports the mind and spirit, and must function properly for a state of well-being.
Individual Services
The Arno Profile System is used to identify and assess the nature of a client's temperament. This painless 10 minute procedure provides a comprehensive portrait of the strengths, weaknesses, and emotional needs of the individual.
This analysis often uncovers many valuable insights including systems of false beliefs. By discovering areas that a client is holding beliefs that are not true and replacing these ideas with the truth that comes from God, the quality of life improves. As the client learns the truth about themselves, God, and others, they are empowered to make better decisions and walk a close walk with the Lord.

where untruth exists and replace it with the truth of God. The
APS profile is an effective step in the process of replacing lies
with truth. The Word says, "You shall know the

Initial Consultation
Your initial consultation is free, but there is a $75 charge for the administration of the temperament profile. It is possible to create a profile in advance, please call for information (941)-737-0602
Fees
At the initial consultation fees will be discussed. No person should forgo needed counseling because of monetary concerns, but it not possible to provide uncompensated professional services. Therefore, a sliding scale is applied that adjusts the cost of your counseling within a range of $45 to $95 per session.
